UPDATE: New information about the shooter was released.

X is full of theories about the shooting that occurred at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night—people are speculating about: why it happened, how it happened, and who was being targeted by the shooter. Some posts include the hashtag “#staged,” which is trending (along with #Butler).

While no one can say for certain that the shooting was a “false-flag,” there are multiple red flags that are causing people to question what actually happened.

The White House Ballroom Talking Point

First there was the rapid-fire on-message posts from MAGA X accounts immediately after the shooting.

Iran Thinks it Was Staged

Even Iran thinks it was staged. Currently, they are carrying out a propaganda campaign in the U.S. that the video is part of, but still…

How did they create and post this video so soon after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting? That’s not insinuating a conspiracy theory involving Iran, just genuine curiosity about how they crank out videos immediately after the President or a member of the Cabinet makes the news.

White House Correspondents’ Dinner—Shots Fired

We can’t say for certain whether or not the man who fired a gun outside the entrance to the ballroom was part of a “staged” event. Not until we have more information (facts, if they’re real).

Some people, *cough**Trump**cough*, have already determined that the President was the intended target of the shooter.

If it turns out that he was not targeted, the ballroom talking point no longer makes sense. If the shooter was going after a reporter, like CNN’s Kaitlin Collins, then resuming construction of the White House ballroom isn’t an immediate need—not for Collins’ safety, anyway.

It will be interesting to learn what investigators (if there are any) find on the shooter’s social media accounts and emails, and what they learn from interviews with his friends and family.

Resist Hate will publish an article about the shooting later today when we have more details about what happened.
