WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Resist Hate News reporter was accidentally invited to a private Republicans group chat used to coordinate messaging, discuss policy priorities, and accidentally expose the inner workings of the Trump GOP.

While the authenticity of the screenshots could not be independently verified, we trust our staff, and analysts agreed they “pass the vibe check with alarming ease.”

The chat was titled:

Patriots Only 🇺🇸🦅 NO DEMS

At first, the chat appeared to function like any ordinary congressional group discussion.

Experts say the exchange initially resembled a typical strategy meeting: identify an unpopular policy proposal, workshop a talking point, and immediately abandon any interest in supporting evidence.

Our reporter took screenshots of the conversation for this exclusive bombshell report.

At this stage, no one suspected the situation would deteriorate so rapidly.

Then someone suggested addressing inflation with actual policy solutions.

It did not go well.

According to sources familiar with the matter, this was the last moment anyone attempted to discuss the issue voters were actually concerned about.

Witnesses say the conversation quickly pivoted back to safer territory: blaming immigrants for literally everything.

Political scientists often describe democratic decline as a gradual process.

Apparently, they had never seen this group chat.

Experts say this is where the rails came off.

The chat’s group photo was changed to an eagle wearing aviator sunglasses. A poll regarding another investigation into Hunter Biden was launched. Climate change was dismissed despite one participant reportedly informing colleagues that his district was actively on fire.

“This is the sort of institutional breakdown scholars rarely get to observe in real time,” one analyst noted.

Questions regarding whether anyone involved had ever completed a civics class were left unresolved.

Observers described the atmosphere as “equal parts congressional caucus and middle school group project.”

And then came the moment every staffer fears.

Panic spread through the chat after participants realized journalists may have gained access to the conversation.

Confusion intensified when one member reportedly asked:

“Why is ResistH8 in here?”

Attempts to enable disappearing messages only deepened the crisis.

Multiple participants appeared to be typing simultaneously before abruptly going silent.

No further messages were recovered.

Republican leadership quickly denied the authenticity of the screenshots.

“This is obviously fake,” one spokesperson said. “For starters, none of our members know how to enable disappearing messages.”

The White House declined to comment directly on the alleged leaks but did issue a brief statement emphasizing its commitment to helping everyday Americans—provided those Americans happened to be billionaires, defense contractors, or fossil fuel executives.

Political analysts said the controversy was unlikely to change anyone’s mind.

“If the screenshots are fake, people think they’re real because they align with existing public perceptions,” one expert explained. “If they’re real, the country will move on to the next scandal before lunch.”

At press time, the group chat had reportedly been renamed once again:

Who Added ResistH8???

…and immediately muted by 127 participants.

Why This Matters

Political satire has long served as a pressure valve during moments of national anxiety. Sometimes laughter is one of the few ways people can process the absurdity of the world around them.

Also, if your first reaction to these screenshots was, “Wait… did this actually happen?” you may have stumbled upon the entire point.
