Resist Hate was created to expose the stories that corporate media chooses to ignore—stories about human rights, government overreach, and the real-world consequences of dark money in politics.

Too often, critical information is watered down, buried, or ignored entirely. We exist to challenge the status quo.

Our reporting focuses on issues like:

• Mass deportations and the inhumane treatment and deaths at ICE detention facilities
• LGBTQ+ rights, human rights, and civil rights
• Democracy, voting rights, and the U.S. Constitution under threat
• The wars abroad — measured in the human lives lost, war crimes, and human rights violations
• Climate change and the fight to protect our environment
• Police, criminal justice, the immigration system, and other reforms that are long overdue

Everything we do is based on the beliefs that every human life is precious, everyone deserves to have a voice, and you deserve the truth—not some version of it.

Meet Pax, the Otter Who Keeps Resist Hate Honest

His name is Latin for peace — and that’s exactly what he’s here to protect. Pax is built from the same values this publication runs on: love, equality, justice, and dignity for every single person.

It’s fitting that he’s an otter, too. Otters are some of the most social animals out there — they stick close to their family groups, look out for their own, and are famous for holding hands so no one drifts away.

That’s basically the whole idea behind a community like ours.

You’ll might see Pax waving a flag at Pride, reminding everyone that hate has no home here.

But don’t let the soft fur and big brown eyes fool you. Pax is the kind of peace that comes with a backbone.

When the headlines turn to mass deportations, families torn apart in ICE detention, or cruelty dressed up as policy, you’ll find him at his desk — coffee in paw, brow furrowed, fact-checking the spin and refusing to look away.

Endless compassion for people, zero patience for hate. Or, as his coffee mug puts it: coffee, compassion, consequences, repeat. Pax is watching.

What We Do

We publish news from the topics we cover and easy-to-understand explainers and guides.

Our mission is simple: build a space where people who believe in democracy, human rights, and accountability can find trustworthy reporting, connect with others, and unite to “look up” at the real cause of suffering among the working-class in America.

People in power want us to fight. They use culture war issues to make us look at the Left or Right.

They use immigrants as scapegoats so we “look down” at the most vulnerable people among us—people in poverty or experiencing homelessness (in the richest country in the world).

Their message: “Look everywhere but UP—where billionaires, oligarchs, and wannabe authoritarians are stealing from the poor to give tax breaks to the rich, getting rich off of crypto schemes and “pay-to-play” pardons for sale.

“Don’t look up.”

Our free Membership Community unites people who have open hearts and open minds—from both sides of the aisle. The billionaires and Epstein class fear a united working-class more than anything else.

The Community also pushes back against hate, counters oppression, supports targeted communities, and responds to harm before it spreads.
