Jackson White breaks it down on Rebel HQ.

Actor gives trump supporters a lesson they won't forget!

Eric Braeden spoke on CNN after losing his home in the LA fires. He said something important: Donald Trump takes advantage of people who don’t read by telling them lies.

That explains how millions of Americans exist in an alternate reality devoid of fact and logic. They lack critical thinking skills. Even if Trump lies, telling them something that cannot logically coexist with something he might have said in the past, they’re able to believe two opposing thoughts at the same time.

Instead of getting rid of the Department of Education and worrying about DEI and “wokeness” in public education, how about we improve the education system in America and mandate that every high school senior take a critical thinking class before graduating. It’s not a joke. Citizens should be able to think for themselves and differentiate between fact and misinformation. Otherwise we’re going to become a fascist country.

Republicans have been attacking education — actively working to keep the population “stupid.” It’s much easier to control people when they are “dumb and poor.”

Inject a few culture wars to get groups to hate each other and you never have to worry that an entire nation of working-class citizens will rise up against you.

The sooner voters on the other side see what billionaires and people in power are doing and put down the pitchforks, the sooner we can take back control of government and our country. “Of the people, by the people, for the people.” Red states have the worst public education systems in the country, the highest poverty rates, and the highest number of uninsured residents.

Do you think that’s just a coincidence?

Right now, a majority of people in power are elite millionaires who work for their donors, they’re not doing a damn thing to improve our lives.

Every developed nation has universal healthcare. Not us. Republican politicians learned that by calling anything that benefits Americans “Socialism,” they trick the very people whose lives would improve if a bill passed and get them to fight against it.

We work and pay taxes. Our taxes go to the federal government so they can use the money to pay for things that better the country or the lives of Americans.

Our Representatives are just that, they represent us in government and vote the way their constituents tell them to. That’s how democracy works. The people make the decisions but with so many people spread across the country, it’s easier to have a group send one person to D.C. to represent their best interests.

With that in mind, how many of us told them to give $30 billion of our money to the oil companies every year? Did you approve that? Do you know a single person who would’ve authorized that? That means OUR Representatives ignored how we wanted them to vote and voted YES for fossil fuel subsidies. Do companies making billions in profits need OUR help? NO!

So why did members of Congress ignore their constituents and vote ‘YES?’ Several reasons, but most importantly, they’re PAID by fossil fuel companies to do their bidding. If money wasn’t allowed in politics, our system if government would work the way it was meant to (closer to it, anyway).

So the first part is the money from donors and lobby groups. The second part is their constituents. Instead of punishing them for not doing their job and representing the people in their district, they end up getting re-elected — over and over and over again until they’ve been in their seat for decades, became a millionaire, and won’t go anywhere until they die.

Voters are supposed to kick a Representative out of Convress if they aren’t doing their job. Elect someone else, dont just vote for a candidate because you recognize a name.

Our tax dollars are supposed to help US, yet our po convinced half of the country that the use of their tax dollars to help them is “Socialism.”

Okay, so Canada is a dark, scary country? By your logic, they are a Socialist country. You’ll cheer Luigi Mangione because you’re angry about our healthcare situation. Yet you don’t want universal healthcare? I’ll end here so I don’t create a 2,000 word post out of this video.
