Trump officials struggle to justify the arrest of Pro-Palestinian protester and graduate student, Mahmoud Khalil. ICE agents arrested him at his Columbia University apartment, taking him out of state to a detention center in Louisiana.

Agents told his 8-month-pregnant wife and Khalil’s lawyer that he was being held in New Jersey. No one knew where he was for at least 24 hours.
Department of Homeland Security officials told Khalil they were revoking “his student visa” when they arrested him, but he has a green card.
They changed their story and now they’re claiming that his green card will be revoked and he’s going to be deported to Syria.
