Who we are
Resist Hate is an independent newsroom publishing original reporting on the people and policies most coverage overlooks. We report on immigration enforcement, civil rights, and human rights abuses with the time and care those stories deserve — without corporate funding and without advertisers deciding what makes the page. Founded in 2023, we've grown from a small aggregator into a newsroom producing overwhelmingly original work.

About the editor
Resist Hate is written and edited by Serena Zehlius, a Certified Human Rights Consultant. As a one-person newsroom, every story is reported, written, and fact-checked in-house. We welcome volunteer staff and guest writers.
Editorial independence
Our reporting answers to readers, not funders. Sponsors are credited for making the work possible, but they have no say over what we cover or how we cover it. Editorial decisions belong to the newsroom alone. We don't run programmatic ads, and we don't trade coverage for support.
