My fentanyl policy proposal for President Biden: A homework assignment

A college assignment where I was “in the DEA” and had to inform President Biden about fentanyl and Mexican drug cartels, then draft a fentanyl policy proposal to combat both.

I can’t believe I created a fentanyl policy proposal years ago and never presented it to Congress. 😂

I was looking for a file today in my college Google Drive account when I came across an old assignment I forgot about.

I can’t help but pretend like I actually was at the DEA during the Biden admin and now I’m sharing the fentanyl policy proposal with you, the American people.

I completed the assignment for a “drug policy” class I was taking to earn an Associate's in addiction recovery. The assignment was to pretend that I had been given a position at the DEA during the Biden administration. My job was to provide President Biden with the information he needed to come up with a policy to combat the fentanyl crisis and Mexican drug cartels at the border.

The second part of the assignment was to give him my recommendations for an effective policy once he had all of the information needed to make an informed decision.

Being the dramatic overachiever that I am, I included a letter to the President along with my report. I hope someone out there takes the time to read it. I honestly put a lot of time and effort into the assignment.

I just hate that I put in all of that effort and the only person who ever saw it was my professor. If I would've thought more about it two years ago, I might have actually mailed it to the White House just for “shits and giggles.”

Without further delay, I present my fentayl policy proposal on how to deal with the fentanyl crisis and the Mexican drug cartels. (I watermarked it so no one could send it to President Trump as their own work. 🤭)
