“Former President Donald Trump announced his ALL CAPS support for publicly posting the Ten Commandments in schools as the law goes into effect, mandating every classroom in Louisiana to do so.“We’re going to be seeing Gov. Landry in court,” said Rachel Laser, the president and CEO of Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

On Wednesday, Governor Jeff Landry signed legislation that requires the display of the Ten Commandments in every public classroom in the Bayou State. This makes it the only state with such a mandate and raises questions about the long-standing tenets of separation of church and state in the United States.”
