Donald Trump’s rhetoric and the lies on Fox News are radicalizing Republican voters in the country and now a county sheriff is posting crazy Facebook rants with images of Fox News.
It blows my mind that nothing has been done about Fox News. Especially after their lies resulted in the deaths of an unknown number of their viewers. Hosts were telling viewers not to wear masks, not to social distance, don't believe Dr. Fauci, and ignore anything from the CDC. Also, COVID vaccines are killing people.
Why is our country allowing people to become radicalized to violence by a “news” station? The FCC can't even stop them from labeling the network as “news”? What about the fact that our military bases have Fox News on all televisions 24/7? There are concerns about people in our military becoming radicalized, yet no one can figure out why?
All that being said, it's no surprise that this sheriff is now threatening Harris voters. Shouldn't a sheriff protect all residents, regardless of political affiliation?
“When people ask me…What’s gonna happen if the Flip — Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say…write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo…when the Illegal human ‘Locust’ (which she supports!) Need places to live…We’ll already have the addresses of the their New families…who supported their arrival!" the post said.
Prior to that, he posted a rant attacking the DNC in Chicago, the mobile medical unit “killing babies,” and the burning of American flags. Is it really only Democratic Americans who miss out on job opportunities because of their social media posts in the past? This is nuts. How is he still a sheriff?
He also shared photos of himself posing with Mike Flynn, JD Vance, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
I hope that this sheriff is fired immediately. Otherwise, how could residents in that county who support Harris, feel safe knowing he has people stalking them and “writing down their address.”
A local resident and former marine spoke to a local news outlet: “I took an oath to the Constitution to protect all of those foreign and domestic. That had nothing to do with party. It’s the same oath that Bruce (Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski) took.”
Zuchowski has been the sheriff of Portage County, Ohio since 2021 and peviously served in Ohio law enforcement for nearly three decades. (That’s terrifying as well)
On a final note, there are sure to be First Amendment arguments here. However, this isn't just some random guy in Ohio. This is someone of authority with access to guns and a dangerous Fox News diet.
