The DOJ was required by law to release all the Epstein files on Friday, but it released only some. The release included documents so heavily redacted that the entire document was blacked out.
Allison Gill of The Breakdown Podcast interviewed Annie Farmer, the younger sister of Maria Farmer, both victims of Epstein, on her show over the weekend. Maria had filed a report with the FBI in 1996 about Epstein, which some have claimed never happened due to the failure of the FBI to take action afterward. The sisters both feel vindicated after the recent release of Epstein files included Maria’s 1996 FBI report.
The Annie Farmer interview
Gill has sources in the FBI who have provided her with specific details about the agents ordered to redact Donald Trump’s name in the Epstein files. She was told that training videos teach agents how to redact Trump’s name and log each document containing his name in a shared spreadsheet.
Maria Farmer’s 1996 Report
Maria Farmer reported that Jeffrey Epstein had stolen photos of her younger sisters (16 and 12 at the time) that she had taken, and threatened to burn her family’s house down if she told anyone. She also reported the sexual assault that she experienced at the hands of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, that both of them had also assaulted her sister Annie, and how she had seen Donald Trump around. She told the FBI that they should probably look into him as well.
The report from 1996 was one of the documents released on Friday, but it only included the part about the photos (labeled “child pornography” by the person who was taking the report). Annie Farmer reveals that the FBI had known about the assaults (because they asked her and her sister for more details about them when agents finally came to interview them in 2006) in this interview.
So where is the rest of that report? Did the DOJ not release it because it mentioned Donald Trump?
