Dr. David L. Di Maria is currently the Vice Provost for Global Engagement at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Previously, he served as Associate Provost for International Programs at Montana State University, Director of International Programs and Services at Kent State University and Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services at St. Cloud State University. As an international education scholar-practitioner, Dr. Di Maria regularly presents, publishes and consults on critical issues impacting international higher education. He is the author or editor of four books, and he has written more than 50 articles, book chapters, essays and technical publications focused on international education. Dr. Di Maria is also an active member of the editorial and review boards of various academic journals focused on international education.
