Steve Bannon will instead be in a more dangerous prison living situation—possibly Rikers Island. John Iadarola and Yasmin Kahn break it down on The Damage Report.

“Steve Bannon will not be serving his four-month sentence at a minimum security “Club Fed” federal prison, according to CNN.

The podcast host and former Donald Trump adviser was convicted of contempt of Congress after he defied a subpoena issued by the House Jan. 6 select committee. Last week, a judge ordered Bannon to report to prison on July 1 to serve his sentence.

It turns out that the prison will be the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. The facility is a low-security prison, as opposed to a minimum-security prison – or a “Club Fed,” as minimum-security facilities are sometimes called.”
