Israeli propaganda played a part in the lead-up to the 2003-2011 war in Iraq.

If you believe we are currently bombing Iran because they are “days away” from having nukes, let me open your eyes to the truth.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has been pushing a different propaganda campaign since 1992 (the one you’ll see in the video below).

Israeli Propaganda Used in the Lead-Up to the War in Iran

“Since 1992.” That’s more than 30 years spent on the same propaganda campaign.

All those years paid off.

Netanyahu was successful early Saturday morning (EST). He achieved his goal: to get the U.S. to fight a war with Iran on Israel’s behalf.

Both the U.S. and Israel started the bombing campaign in Tehran together, but watch for the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) to slink away at some point and let the U.S. military finish (and pay for) the war by itself.

That is just my opinion, so don’t expect it to turn out that way.

There has been plenty of Israeli propaganda related to the genocide in Palestine, but we’re focusing on Iraq and Iran in this article.

Continue reading to learn more about the propaganda used to push for the current war in Iran, how much of our tax dollars go to Israel, and Netanyahu’s involvement in the purchase of TikTok (to use as a “weapon” in the propaganda war.

First it Was Iraq

The U.S. intelligence community incorrectly determined that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

Israeli intelligence shared with the U.S. came to the same conclusion, but the findings were “exaggerated.”

Some in Israeli intelligence weren’t confident about what the report claimed they found, but stayed quiet because they wanted the war regardless.

Studies were performed after the war ended to determine where the intelligence failure occurred, and why the intelligence from Israel was more exaggerated than intelligence from the U.S. and U.K.

The following is an excerpt from a study published by the Institute for National Security Studies.

The author of the report references a comment that the exaggeration of Israeli intelligence didn’t cause any damage because the U.S. military was more prepared than it ‘needed to be’ because of it.

The report goes on to list reasons why that comment is false:

  • Damaging public trust in those appraising the situation and in the decision-makers – Soon after the beginning of the war in Iraq, it became evident that the Israeli public lost its faith in the analysts and the decision-makers, and ignored their instructions.
  • Financial cost – While there are no accurate figures on this subject, the picture emerging is that prior to the war in Iraq, the defense establishment spent a great deal of money on addressing threats that were either non-existent or highly unlikely.
  • Damaging international relations – Foreign intelligence services might stop trusting intelligence received from Israel, and foreign countries might suspect that Israel is giving them false intelligence in order to influence their political positions.

Indeed, in the past Israel has been accused of disseminating false information that serves its own interests.

Such suspicions, for example, could harm Israel’s efforts to convince others that the intelligence on Iran’s nuclear project is solid.”

Over 30 Years of Propaganda for War in Iran

Benjamin Netanyahu has been trying to get us to fight a war with Iran on their behalf for over 30 years.

In the video below, you’ll see what he’s trying to do, and your eyes will be forever opened to the Israeli propaganda he and the far-Right government of Israel have been sharing with Congress and the American people to get us into war with Iran.

But first, a timeline of his claims that Iran is “about to have nuclear weapons.”

Cover of bibi’s book
I didn’t know this existed until I learned about it during research.
  • 1992: Told the Israeli Knesset Iran was “three to five years” away from a nuclear bomb
  • 1995: Repeated the same claim in his book Fighting Terrorism
  • 1996: Addressed a joint session of Congress warning an Iranian nuclear weapon would bring “catastrophic consequences”
  • 2002: Appeared before a U.S. congressional committee advocating for the invasion of Iraq, linking Iraq and Iran’s nuclear ambitions
  • 2009: Told a U.S. congressional delegation Iran was “probably one or two years away
  • 2012: Held up a cartoon bomb at the UN General Assembly claiming Iran was months away
  • 2015: Addressed Congress again opposing the Iran nuclear deal

And here’s the kicker: leaked intelligence cables reported by Al Jazeera revealed that in 2012, at roughly the same time that Netanyahu was telling the United Nations Iran was close to obtaining a nuclear weapon, Israeli intelligence had actually determined the country was not performing the activity necessary to produce weapons.

U.S. Funding to Israel

We give Israel money every year. In total we’ve given them $300 billion in economic and military assistance.

Congress agreed in a January 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that we will send them $3.8 billion a year until 2028, including $500 million a year for missile defense.

From the Council on Foreign Relations website: The United States provided Israel considerable economic assistance from 1971 to 2007, but nearly all U.S. aid today goes to support Israel’s military, the most advanced in the region.

Since the start of Israel’s war with Hamas on October 7, 2023, the United States has enacted legislation providing at least $16.3 billion in direct military aid to Israel — on top of the annual MOU amount.

When President Trump froze all foreign aid, Israel and Egypt were exempt.

Here’s the thing. The people of Israel have universal healthcare, paid family leave, and heavily subsidized higher education. They have it better than we do, yet our tax dollars are given to them instead of being used here to improve our lives.

TikTok is a Weapon in the Propaganda War

One last thing:

  • The consortium that acquired TikTok’s U.S. operations is partially owned by Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, a longtime Netanyahu friend and Trump ally.
  • Netanyahu also mentioned X, saying “We have to talk to Elon. He’s not an enemy, he’s a friend,” and claimed that if influence over both TikTok and X could be secured, Israel “would get a lot.”
  • The meeting took place at the Israeli Consulate in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly — where Netanyahu spoke to a nearly empty hall after many delegations walked out in protest.

Later this month, a deal will be finalized to sell this app you’re on to a joint venture with Larry Ellison (Oracle, Silver Lake, and MGX) that will control what kind of content is spread on the U.S version of this app. Israel says this is very important. Why?
