Trump’s National Security Policy is Focused on the Homeland

The National Security strategy of the Trump Administration is focused on defending the “homeland” from “the enemies from within.”

Ken Klippenstein, one of the greatest investigative journalists of all time (seriously, subscribe to his Substack), reported on President Trump’s National Security Strategy (NSS) in November, before it was available to the public. Some of the things he warned we would see happen in the country, beyond the deployment of the National Guard, have already happened.

Owning Greenland is part of the Strategy due to its geographic location. Defending the Arctic is one of Trump’s objectives and with Greenland bridging the Arctic and the Atlantic, it’s the perfect site for military bases that are tasked with monitoring activity on the not-as-icy-due-to-global-warming-Arctic Ocean.

As it’s been pointed out all over independent media recently, the U.S. already has the ability to set up military bases in Greenland. In fact, the U.S. used to have around 17 operational bases before closing 16 of them. A 1951 agreement between the U.S. and Denmark allows us to establish and operate military bases and defense areas in Greenland. The agreement was amended in 2004.

President Trump’s new National Security Strategy, which focuses on the “homeland,” means “the enemy within” is viewed as a bigger threat to the security of the United States than our adversaries; Russia, China, North Korea, etc. (but do we still call them ‘adversaries’ when Trump is buddies with those authoritarian leaders? Are our allies now adversaries and adversaries our allies? My head hurts…).

How Trump’s New National Security Strategy is Different

How trump’s new national security strategy is different

From Klippenstein’s reporting:

For the first time ever, the strategy incorporates everything from closing the borders and establishing “National Defense Areas” along them, immigration enforcement operations, the war against Antifa and other domestic groups, and even boat strikes in the Caribbean into a singular coherent war. Meanwhile, China and Russia, Iran and North Korea, and fighting in the Middle East are downgraded to secondary priorities.

The strategy focuses more on homeland security/homeland defense than any other previous document, including right after 9/11,” a senior intelligence official who has seen the National Security Strategy, which is classified, told me.

The priority is the Western Hemisphere, from Arctic defense to stability in South America, from border security to the Golden Dome,” the intelligence official said. “Immigration, migration, TCOs [Transnational Criminal Organizations], foreign influence all come under the umbrella of homeland defense.”

In another article published in early December, Klippenstein revealed how the FBI is making a list of “extremists” in the U.S. Antifa comes to mind as a main target of this administration. JD Vance has threatened to go after any “leftist organization” that funds protests. The Constitutionally protected right to protest is under attack.

As Klippenstein said in his piece on the National Security Srategy, the deployment of the National Guard to U.S. cities was just the beginning.

Funny story: The Resist Hate website used to be at www.antifahq.com as a joke/satire. We changed domains soon after the Trump administration labeled Antifa a “terrorist organization” and we received threats. The funny part is that the data tracking where visitors to the site originated from revealed that there was an influx of new visitors right after the “Antifa=terrorists” announcement. These new visitors came to the site from Google searches for: “donate to antifa” and “antifa hq.”

Doesn’t it make you feel all warm and fuzzy to know there are people who—upon learning that the government was targeting Antifa—wanted to help financially?
