Pennsylvania Representative Summer Lee gave a speech that inspired and empowered working-class Americans.

She delivered the Progressive response following the President’s hateful, racist, demagogic — and at times gruesome — State of the Union address to Congress.

Lee mentioned every issue on the minds of working-class Americans in a strong, defiant, yet inspiring tone. She talked about affordability, housing, wages, mental health, lack of health insurance, drug prices, the genocide in Palestine, and masked ICE agents roaming our streets.

Summer Lee is an amazing speaker. Kudos to the Working Families Party for selecting her to deliver the progressive response.
