Resist Hate is against the war in Iran. Thousands have died, including American soldiers and 165+ little girls.

The bombs falling on Iran aren’t just destroying buildings — they’re destroying lives. Families torn apart. Children pulled from rubble. An entire nation under siege while the world watches.

Officials have reported upward of 2,500 deaths in the war, including over 1,300 in Iran, 900 people in Lebanon, 12 in Israel, and 13 U.S. service members.

And here at home, Congress never voted for this. No debate. No authorization.

Just an illegal war — handed down by executive order while Americans foot the bill in blood and treasure.

After spending $12 billion+ on the war so far, Pete Hegseth is about to go to Congress and request another $200 billion. The Pentagon budget is almost $1 trillion, and they recently received an additional $500 billion from Republicans. How much do they need?

It’s infuriating to consider the many ways $200 billion could be used to improve Americans’ lives or build affordable housing. The U.S. lags behind other developed nations in providing for its citizens, moving away from fossil fuels and into renewable energy projects, education, transportation, healthcare, etc.

$200 billion could:

  • Discharge student debt for over a million struggling borrowers.
  • Cancel all medical debt in the United States.
  • Provide free school lunch to all American children.
  • Fully fund educational services for millions of students with disabilities for the first time ever.
  • Delay Medicaid coverage loss for millions of people.
  • Send millions of low-income Americans to college.
  • Send life-saving medication to tens of millions of people around the world.
  • Supply food assistance to millions of Americans.
  • Provide free child care for millions of children.
  • Close the multibillion-dollar gap in state funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
  • And so much more

The Department of Defense hasn’t been able to pass a single audit—eight in a row!
