The first time I heard the audio of John Barron’s call on C-Span, I laughed harder than I have in a year. The caller sounded just like Donald Trump attempting (and failing) to disguise his voice.
I couldn’t stop laughing about the President of the United States calling into a show, pretending to be a random caller who happened to agree with Trump on the SCOTUS ruling he’d spent days complaining about.
Then, the wet blanket, aka The Hill, ruined my joy by reporting that it wasn’t the President, but some random person calling in under the name John Barron.
C’mon. That’s too much of a coincidence.
Right?
The C-Span host said that the call came from a Virginia phone number. It’s easy to spoof the number that appears on the caller ID. And if someone in Washington, D.C. needed to choose another state for a fake number, Virginia would probably come to mind first.
Another reason given to explain why it wasn’t the President was his presence at the Governor’s dinner when the call came in, but that means nothing. Trump could easily have slipped away to make the call in the bathroom—or anywhere private.
What are the chances that a man named John Barron, the name that Trump used when he would call into shows to promote himself years ago, would sound exactly like Trump?

Please comment with your thoughts below (comment section is open to guests). I need to know what others are thinking about this. I simply cannot accept that there is a real man named John Barron who sounds exactly like Donald Trump attempting (poorly) to change his voice.
