Mary Magnuson completed an AAAS Mass Media Fellowship with The Conversation U.S. in 2022 before joining the science team in 2023. Mary holds a master's degree in environment and resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied community coexistence with urban wildlife, as well as a BS degree in conservation biology and life sciences communication from the same institution.
