A letter was posted on social media by the superintendent of a Texas school district warning immigrants that border patrol agents could board buses and questionstudents about their inmigration status.

It was later taken down.

At least one local news outlet contacted the office of Dr. Anysia Trevino, superintendent of Alice Independent School District in Alice, Texas. They were told a statement would be released Thursday.

As of 3:30 P.M. on Thursday, the outlet has not received a statement.
